【摘要】:ThispracticecoversequipmentandproceduresforobtainingarepresentativesampleofspecificationLiquefiedPetroleumGas(LPG),suchasspecifiedinSpecificationD1835,GPA2140,andcomparableinternationalstandards.ThispracticeissuitableforobtainingrepresentativesamplesforallroutinetestsforLPgasesrequiredbySpecificationD1835.IntheeventofadisputeinvolvingsampleintegritywhensamplingfortestingagainstSpecificationD1835requirements,PracticeD3700shallbeusedastherefereesamplingprocedure.ThispracticemayalsobeusedforotherNaturalGasLiquid(NGL)productsthatarenormallysinglephase(NGLmix,fieldbutane,etc.),definedinotherindustryspecificationsorcontractualagreements.Itisnotintendedfornon-specificationproductsthatcontainsignificantquantitiesofundissolvedgases(N2,CO2),freewaterorotherseparatedphases,suchasraworunprocessedgas/liquidsmixturesandrelatedmaterials.Thesameequipmentcanbeusedforthesepurposes,butadditionalprecautionsaregenerallyneededtoobtainrepresentativesamplesofmultiphaseproducts(seeAppendixX1onSamplingGuidelinesinPracticeD3700).Note1PracticeD3700describesarecommendedpracticeforobtainingarepresentativesampleofalighthydrocarbonfluidandthesubsequentpreparationofthatsampleforlaboratoryanalysiswhendissolvedgasesarepresent.UseofPracticeD1265willresultinasmallbutpredictablelowbiasfordissolvedgasesduetotheliquidventingproceduretoestablishthe20%minimumullage.Thispracticeincludesrecommendationsforthelocationofasamplepointinalineorvessel.Itistheresponsibilityoftheusertoensurethatthesamplingpointislocatedsoastoobtainarepresentativesample.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
