【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversprefabricated,self-adhesive,glassfiberfabricreinforced,polymer-modifiedasphaltrollroofing,withgranulesurfacing,designedforsteepslopeapplications.Theseproductsusepolymermodifiersintheirtopandbottomcoatings.Theseproductshaveanadhesivebottomlayerwhichisexposedbyremovalofapeel-awayprotectivereleasepaperorfilmsheet.1.2Thespecifiedtestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesheetmaterialsareintendedtoestablishminimum,ormaximumproperties.In-placeroofsystemdesigncriteria,suchasfireresistance,fieldstrength,impact/punctureresistance,materialcompatibility,upliftresistance,andothers,arefactorsbeyondthescopeofthismaterialspecification.Factorsregardingthesuitabilityofspecificroofconstructionsorapplicationtechniquesarebeyondthisscope.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
