【摘要】:Thisfire-test-responsestandardcoversthemeasurementoftherelativefirecharacteristicsofroofcoveringsundersimulatedfireoriginatingoutsidethebuilding.Itisapplicabletoroofcoveringsintendedforinstallationoneithercombustibleornoncombustibledeckswhenappliedasintendedforuse.Thefollowingtestmethodsareincluded:Intermittentflameexposuretest.Spreadofflametest.Burningbrandtest.Flyingbrandtest.Raintest.Threeclassesoffiretestexposurearedescribed:ClassATestsareapplicabletoroofcoveringsthatareeffectiveagainstseveretestexposure,affordahighdegreeoffireprotectiontotheroofdeck,donotslipfromposition,anddonotpresentaflyingbrandhazard.ClassBTestsareapplicabletoroofcoveringsthatareeffectiveagainstmoderatetestexposure,affordamoderatedegreeoffireprotectiontotheroofdeck,donotslipfromposition,anddonotpresentaflyingbrandhazard.ClassCTestsareapplicabletoroofcoveringsthatareeffectiveagainstlighttestexposure,affordalightdegreeoffireprotectiontotheroofdeck,donotslipfromposition,anddonotpresentaflyingbrandhazard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.Valuesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,productsorassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatoryinformation.Thesenotesandfootnotes,excludingthoseintablesandfigures,shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.
